Edinson Cavani is said to be targeted by his former club Napoli who seem to be keen on a winter reunion with the Uruguay international striker.
Cavani enjoyed a prolific three-year stint with the Serie A hotshots before moving to Paris Saint-Germain. The Uruguay forward scored 104 goals in 138 games between 2010 and 2013 which helped him establish as one of the most lethal strikers in Europe.
It wasn’t too long before he moved to Paris in a lucrative deal, but the latest reports coming from Italy have it that both Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis and head coach Carlo Ancelotti would like to bring him back to San Paolo.
Aurelio de Laurentiis told Gazzetta dello Sport that he would welcome Edinson Cavani with open arms should PSG decide to sell him.
The Napoli president acknowledges, however, that the Uruguayan would have to accept a pay cut if he were to return to the Serie A.
